prim_sch_grd_breakMayor Gary DiNardo, school co-owner Burt Eng and several representatives of contracor Elite Properties didn’t waste any time performing ceremonial groundbreaking for the Primrose School.

With the temperature rapidly rising to uncomfortable, the event didn’t take too long—but since heavy equipment was already at work moving dirt, it didn’t interfere.

“I would pick the hottest day,” Eng joked, as he and Elite Properties’ Tom Powers and David and Amerigo Checchio grabbed iced bottles of water from a cooler on hand.

The entire 2.9-acre site at the corner of Mt. Bethel Road and Powder Horn Drive will serve as the school’s campus, which will include an 11,800 square foot school building and multiple secured and age-appropriate playgrounds.
